I set this up with an older ATX/AT power supply that had only 20 pins on the power plug. It works fine. The power supply had the 4-pin 12V connector, and that is required for this motherboard. I'm presently installing Debian Linux 8.2 (jessie). You can write the ISO to a USB stick and it'll boot fine. The installation is the usual, and everything works. You will get a notice about networking firmware, but you don't need it. Ethernet works fine. Use the i386 version of the OS. Installed MariaDB, Nginx, MongoDB, Python3, rsync, rdiff-backup. After the installs, 2.14 GB of RAM are used. Load average is below 0.5 at rest.

Board was in good condition but had a bent SATA port and was dusty. The port bent back easily and the dust blew right off with compressed air. I'm happy! I have installed Debian Wheezy with RT kernel and LinuxCNC and am using the board as a dedicated machine tool controller. With hyperthreading disabled and isolcpus=1 I am getting latency values of about 12000, good enough for my needs!

Board was clean and "like new". Worked perfectly as replacement.
